Doll Clothing for Tessa Bleu
Here we are! Back to post some of those wee clothes for Tessa Bleu, a custom made natural fiber art doll in my Petite Fig doll style.
Holy smokes! I made it to Friday. How is it Friday again so soon? Can someone tell me? Please?! The last three weeks have flown by in the literal blink of an eye. I feel like I am just starting May and we are already at the very end. Bonkers.
After the slow down (by law) of the quarantine, it seems like May kicked in high gear and it took me for a real spin. I can hardly believe Tessa Bleu is ready to head home, and as I promised, here are some more photos of her.
I had to re-take everything because when I downloaded the camera everything was poo and even jacking up the curves the photos were so dark. I must have forgotten to adjust all my settings…again.
I truly love this doll and her expression. She seems so hopeful. So content. I have already packed her and we are just waiting on the final word of her family so we can send her home, hoping she arrives with plenty of time for the birthday girl.
Now, I really wish I could sew myself a set like Tessa is wearing over here. Drop-crotch joggers, long sleeved knit top with cashmere collar. So cozy. Perfect for the fog-a-thon that we are enduring. Every day we wake up to clouds all around us!
I am so darn happy. I know my husband hates the foggy days, he even dares call them ‘miserable’ but I adore them. As mentioned before, when you grow up in the Mexican desert and the sierras are your normal view, living by an ancient lake amidst the boreal forest is nothing but a treat.
We tried to provide Tessa with a little bit of everything. Cozy clothes for camping or sitting at the beach. Hardy pants for the playgrounds. A nice skirt for a birthday party. I am so excited for her to meet her Mom and hope the two of them become the best of friends!
Thank you so much Nancie, for giving me the chance to be part of your children’s memories. It has been a joy to see this little wooly girl come out of my hands. I hope you all love her.
I’m going to be teaching all weekend, but I will come back next week with a little peek at a set of cousin dollies. Stay tuned.
