Baby Sofia and Baby Alva are all ready for snuggles. I am trying my hardest to keep my promise of at least one baby doll per month, and while I missed the boat with February, this month has a duo. And what a duo! They are both all sweet and cuddly, perfect for little arms to tot around and the most adorable friends to have waiting for you after a long day.

Sofia is giggly and requires constant snuggling, while Alva is a bit more independent and tries everything around her with her mouth first. They are both good sleepers, although Sofia does wake several times at night. They are already eating solids, and I think they are looking forward to feel the grass and sand under them, not just cozy blankets and warm wooden floors. I hope you can make room in your home and heart for one of them.

Alva is a 14" natural baby doll, weighted in her tummy with glass beads contained in a pouch. She is made with swiss cotton jersey and stuffed with clean wool. Alva has long fabric joins that allow her arms and legs to mirror baby poses. She has a needle-felted sculpted face with embroidered eyes and mouth. Alva's hair is a mohair weft, crochet into a cap with wool yarn and sewn. Her hair can be brushed, washed and styled. 

Alva comes wearing cotton jersey bubble overalls with cashmere ribbing and ties. The overalls have a mushroom wooden button sewn to one side as a "brooch". She also wears a long-sleeve jersey top, that closes on front with sewn-in plastic snaps. One of her little sleeves has a small wooden button that reads "hand made". Alva has a pair of knitted boots and diaper, made in the same wool yarn as her pretty hair bow. Alva is recommended as a toy for a child 6+ due to the small snaps, weight and type of hair she has. Sofia wears a crisp linen top with linen tag and bow. The top has elastic on both neck and wrists for a cozy fit. She also has cotton double-gauze bloomers with elastic on waist and legs. A pair of hand knit booties and matching diaper, plus a little pilot-style bonnet made of coordinating linen and trimmed with cotton lace and twill ribbon ties. Sofia is recommended as a toy for a child 4+. Her price is $475 USD plus postage. Taxes applicable to Canadian residents.
